We also have wonderful butchers and farm shops nearby offering great local produce.
We have quiet country lanes for cycling and many footpaths nearby for walks in the countryside, including the Saxonshore Way and the Pilgrims Way.
The Crab and Winkle cycle route is also not far away in Whitstable.
We are within a short drive to Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Chatham Dockyard, Whitstable (especially for the Oyster Festival), Rochester, and in about an hour you could be in London or seaside towns such as Birchington and Broadstairs.
Kent is full of beautiful countryside and has lots of wonderful villages to visit, Chilham, Pluckley, Smarden, Tankerton to name just a few.

Headcorn Aerodrome (headcornaerodrome.co.uk/) – take a picnic and spend the afternoon watching the light aircraft and parachutists, the Spitfire is a spectacular regular visitor.
